Insurance - All vehicles are insured. The hirer is given the benefit of this coverage subject to the conditions of hire. There is a collision damage liability (CDL) of $2200 with the above rates in an accident with another vehicle. This may be reduced to $350 by paying an extra $15 per day. This collision damage waiver (CDW) is optional. Hirers are reminded that overhead, interior, underbody, windscreen & tyre damage howsoever caused is always at the hirers risk. There is no cover unless vehicle is driven on sealed maintained roads (No designated remote areas).
NSW Snowfields - This use is authorised when nominated for $11 per day.
The hirer/driver is responsible for meeting all requirements. Damage caused
by incorrect fitting of snow chains is not covered by insurance. Use of the
vehicle south of Cooma between 1 June and 15 October is prohibited unless
selected in the Area of Use field.
Child restraints - Booster seats and baby seats are free of charge, but
subject to availability.
Rental duration - Rental day period is 24 hours, extra hours are 1/5 daily rate until daily rate is reached. There are no refunds for early returns. Any change of plans including requests to extend must be notified to our office.
Fuel - You are invited to pre-purchase a tankful of fuel at a guaranteed rate of 5% below the Caltex Airport Service Centre pump price ruling at time of pickup. Apart from your cost saving, you do not have to worry about refilling the car at the end of rental. To take advantage of this special offer, specify this in the additional information field. This offer is not retrospective and is only available at time of booking.
Breakdown - All vehicles are covered by NRMA 24-hour roadside assistance.
Street directory - A current copy of the Canberra street directory is in the glove box of all our vehicles.
Requirements
Driver's licenses - All full current Australian and overseas or international licenses are accepted. Drivers are to be a minimum age of 23 years old, having had at least 3 years licensed driving experience.
Payment - At time of rental please have your current licence and credit card with you. We accept MasterCard, Visa and Amex. Traveller's cheque or cash for rental payment only.
