Insurance - All vehicles are insured. The hirer is given the benefit of this coverage subject to the conditions of hire. There is a collision damage liability (CDL) of $2500 with the quoted rates in an accident with another vehicle. This may be reduced to $400 by paying an extra $14 per day. This collision damage waiver (CDW) is optional. Hirers are reminded that overhead, interior, underbody, windscreen & tyre damage howsoever caused is always at the hirers risk. There is no cover unless vehicle is driven on sealed maintained roads within the area of use.
Child restraints - Booster seats and baby seats are available at $5 per day with a maximum of $30 per rental and are subject to availability.
Rental duration - Rental day period is 24 hours, extra hours are 1/5 daily rate until daily rate is reached. There are no refunds for early returns or cancellations notified less than 72 hours prior to commencement of rental. Any change of plans including requests to extend must be notified to our office.
Fuel - Your vehicle will be supplied with a full tank of fuel. It must be returned with a full tank of fuel. Vehicles returned with less than a full tank will be charged a $15 refuelling fee plus the cost of the fuel.
Breakdown - All vehicles are covered by RACQ 24-hour roadside assistance or the manufacturers roadside assistance.
Infringements - All traffic violations, parking fines and tollway charges are the responsibility of the hirer. When we receive an infringement on your behalf we notify the relevant authority by statutory declaration. There is a $55 fee charged to your credit card for this service.
Smoking - Smoking is not allowed in any of our vehicles, a penalty of $100 applies which will be charged to your credit card.
Excess cleaning - If we need to clean the car beyond normal use cleaning we will charge you for this service.
Street directory - A current copy of the Sunshine Coast street directory is in the glove box of all our vehicles.
Area of use - The vehicle is restricted to a 300km radius from the (city) Airport. Vehicles used outside this area of use will not be insured. A loading of 100% for the entire rental period will be charged if a vehicle is found to have been outside the area of use. If in doubt, enquire using the 'Additional Comments' field when making a booking.
Requirements
Driver's licenses - All full current Australian and overseas or international licenses are accepted. Drivers are to be a minimum age of 23 years old, having had at least 3 years licensed driving experience.
Payment - Your credit card will be debited once you have accepted these terms and conditions by clicking on the box below. By accepting the terms and conditions you are authorizing all charges incurred during this rental to be debited to your credit card.
